Overview
LK-ZL Externally fed drum screen is used for fine screening of sewage from industrial and municipal purification plants. And for screening process water from industrial process plants. The wastewater is conveyed to the outer surface of the trommel through the distributor. Solids are sequestered onto the surface of the screen as the filtered liquid passes through the holes in the screen and drains into the tank below the cylinder. With the rotation of the drum surface, the trapped dirt is sent from the inlet end to the discharge end on the other side and is shoveled down by the discharge mechanism

How it works?
Sewage from industrial and municipal purification plants (and other raw water) flows from the front of the drum, through the outer surface of the drum, into the interior of the drum, and out the bottom. The suspended matter in the sewage stays on the drum. With the rotation of the drum surface, the trapped dirt is sent from the inlet end to the discharge end on the other side and is shoveled down by the discharge mechanism.
