Aeration tank foam is not easy to break the hair sticky is generally biological foam, biological foam is formed by a Nocardia genus of filamentous bacteria, brown, due to increased surface tension and is not easy to break, so that the foam is more stable. Biofoam is generally viscous, and it will involve a large number of solid substances such as activated sludge into the floating foam layer of the aeration tank.

Solution:

 1, commonly used recycled water spray to break the bubbles on the water surface, while diluting the concentration of the surface foam source. 

2. Reducing the sludge age and the residence time of the sludge in the aeration tank can inhibit the competitive advantage of the foamed bacteria with a long growth cycle. This method can cure the root cause, but the growth cycle of effective strains needs to be considered comprehensively. 

3, fungicide or defoamer, for biological foams that occur for a long time, should consider using a strong oxidizing fungicide.

 4, add a fixed filler or floating filler, so that some microorganisms that are easy to produce sludge swelling and foam are fixed on the filler, which not only increases the total biomass of the aeration tank, improves the treatment effect, but also reduces or controls the generation of foam.
