What is the difference between Roots fans and centrifugal fans

1, Roots blower is a positive displacement blower. The Roots blower separates the air intake by the "meshing" of a pair of rotors, which are driven by a pair of synchronous gears and move in the opposite direction to compress the incoming gas and push it from the intake port to the exhaust port. The moment the gas reaches the exhaust port, it is pressurized to increase the pressure due to the reflux of the high-pressure gas on the exhaust side, so as to complete the gas transmission.

2, the centrifugal fan is the use of high-speed rotating impeller to accelerate the gas, so that kinetic energy into potential energy (pressure), so as to complete the gas transmission.

3. The working principle of Roots blower and centrifugal fan is different, and the basic structure of the fan is also different.
