How often do septic tanks need to be cleaned

The septic tank cleaning cycle is not unified provisions, septic tank cleaning cycle is generally determined when the septic tank design, usually divided into 3 months, half a year, one year three different cleaning cycles, under normal circumstances are quarterly (that is, 3 months) cleaning once, at least once a year.

A septic tank is a device that treats manure and filters it for precipitation. The principle is that the solidified material is decomposed at the bottom of the pool, and the hydrated object on the upper level flows into the pipeline, preventing the pipeline from blocking, and giving the solidified object (feces and other garbage) enough time to hydrolyze.
