Four points for attention in the use of Roots blower
Leave a message
1. Ambient temperature
Many devices have their own operating temperature range, Roots blower is no exception, its operating temperature range of -15 ° C to 40 ° C, but most parts of the country generally do not consider low temperature, and it will generate heat when working. And most areas will face high temperatures.
Under normal circumstances, the temperature in the blower room should be kept below 40 ° C, and more than 40 ° C will greatly shorten the life of the blower and the motor. If the room temperature exceeds 40 ° C, install ventilation blowers in the equipment room to increase the ventilation or take necessary cooling measures, such as cooling water pipes.
2. Belt tightness
As a part of the belt connecting the motor and the wind wheel, its tightness must be appropriate, if the belt is too tight, it will make the belt heat and damage; Too loose a belt can also cause premature belt damage. When the use cycle is too long, you should also pay attention to the replacement of the belt.
Judge the tightness: hand press the center of the belt, if you can press down 1~2cm, indicating that the tightness is normal; If it is too loose, tighten it with a tool, turn the tightening bolt clockwise to increase the tension of the belt; If it is too tight, turn the tension bolt counterclockwise with a wrench to loosen the belt.
3. Maintenance
For the maintenance of Roots blower, each manufacturer has made the corresponding requirements, but the conventional maintenance content is basically universal, and its content generally includes:
About bearing lubrication: Bearing grease should choose the specified lubricating heat resistant grease (high temperature resistant lithium grease, synthetic high temperature grease, molybdenum disulfide, etc.), generally run for 150 hours (that is, about a week) and once (less than 150 hours in 3 months must also be driven with a butter gun), filling must ensure that the grease has indeed been filled into, Add grease until grease flows out of the end cap drain tank. It should be noted here that, often in the maintenance of Roots blower, the grease is filled with the filling of gear oil (and the gear oil replacement cycle is generally 2-3 months). Therefore, it is still necessary to pay attention to the maintenance cycle of bearings.
Gear oil: gear oil is generally selected heavy load 220 label gear oil, and some manufacturers recommend the selection of medium load 220 gear oil. As for the choice of which label of oil, or according to the manufacturer's instructions to judge. The first time to replace the gear oil is after 500 hours of cumulative operation (that is, about 20 days, some manufacturers require less, some 7 days, in order to discharge the mechanical debris generated during the initial stage of operation), and then every 1000 hours to change the oil (if the oil is dirty, it should be changed in advance). When the fan is shut down, ensure that the oil level in the oil gun mirror is not lower than the center line of the oil mark and does not exceed the entire oil mark, and pay attention to not adding too much when filling, otherwise it is unfavorable to the operation of the blower.
The maintenance quality of the fan determines the service life of the fan, and we can compare the fan equipment to our car. The car generally needs regular maintenance, and the feeling of running the car without maintenance or after maintenance cycle must not be silky after maintenance. The same is true of the blower, so in order to ensure the use of the blower must be regularly maintained.
4. Air filter cleaning
The maintenance of air filter element is a relatively easy to ignore. Because it is used for filtering air at the intake of Roots blower, the filter element will easily accumulate ash for a long time, affecting the intake effect of Roots blower. If the filter element is blocked for a long time and is not cleaned up, the negative pressure of the Roots blower intake will increase, causing abnormal heating or insufficient intake air volume or even equipment damage. Therefore, it needs to be cleaned regularly, especially in the dusty north, and the cleaning frequency of the filter element needs to be increased. Here it also needs to be emphasized that in the spring of the north, willow trees will produce poplar catkins, and a large amount of poplar catkins will be adsorbed on the filter element in a short time to block the filter element (see the figure below), so it is necessary to pay more attention to timely removal.
